After a short easy climb, had a roaring 30 km descent from the Col de la Faucille into Geneve.  On entering the town near the airport, a barely marked piste cyclable led into the center. I found the hostel by 1PM and was able to finally do laundry.  This hostel is really in an international one, as in my room were an Algerian, a Chilean and a Russian, all very friendly. There is always a group sitting on the terrace near the reception attending to their travel chores. In the evening, guests use the life size outdoor chessboard there.

Hello & goodbye from Geneve. Got my mail here and off to the Alps, hope to see some snow tomorrow. Bed, breakfast and dinner here is $22, expensive for a hostel as is all of Switzerland. Back in France soon. Transmission uncertain next few days.
