Ornans
Whew! After a 12 mile climb was finally able to get a good mobile phone connection to empty my outbox and get some messages. Don't know when this one will get out.

St. Gorgon-Main
Climbed 15 miles up the Vallee de Loue through the awesome Gorges de Nouailles. Gentle climb with plenty of shade. For the second day in a row enjoyed a delicious salad for lunch before continuing.

Pontaliers
A delicious repas here, a light pastry with melted ham and cheese inside, glazed with nuts for appetizer, then chicken breasts with mashed potatoes, then cheese, then ice cream. This hostel has lots of bikers who are using it for a base for day tours.  They have given me some great routes for tomorrow. Still no rain.
