Cycling from Lyon, France to Valence, France

Not going to Vienne made today's ride longer, about 110km, down the Rhone with the Mistral at the back and the air warming up. By lunchtime I've got 40km to go, but can't wait to check the mail again. The rest of the ride to Valence along the Rhone went OK, despite overdoing the lunch. 3 years ago I visited the hostel there while heading north and it wasn't nearly so hard to find this time. It's a really large resort hotel with restaurant and cafeteria, camping, a few rooms set aside for the hostel, but far from the center. Dinner with wine put me asleep by 9, and I was able to find BBC on my radio. Breakfast included OJ, top of the line.
